‘Enough’ (2018) is an exploration into one’s surrounding when feeling overwhelmed by the daily struggles of life, feeling trapped, unsatisfied and unable to move on. Our immediate domestic surrounding often becomes both a safe space and a place for constant self-reflection. Its mundanity, shapes and forms become an inevitable part of our routine. We walk through the same rooms, surrounded by the same objects, staring at the same walls. Motivated by topics such as authenticity and truthfulness, particularly in the context of social media, the photographer offers a skewed insight into her personal space, reflecting on the way we perceive both our personal and other people’s lives through the prism of our online presence.
I am feeling just a little bit blue...
